great news for skiers and riders heading upstate new york

It's been a very busy couple of years at Windham Mountain. Check out the changes:

  • Three trails – If the resort previously felt like two distinct areas before, it doesn’t any more. The bowl between Wraparound and Wicked now has some great new terrain, tying together the trail network into a much more cohesive experience. And of course all this new terrain sports state-of-the-art snowmaking equipment.
  • Four lifts – The G lift triple chair has been replaced with a high-speed, detachable quad now known as the East Peak Express Quad. Repositioning of the top and bottom stations, as well as lift towers, makes for a better flow. The C lift was upgraded to a more modern, comfortable triple chair and was relocated to suit users better. A new carpet lift was also added to the learning area. A new surface lift has been added by the jib park and half pipe, meaning that freestyle skiers and riders don't need to take the D lift or hike for their fun.
  • Snowmaking, snowmaking, snowmaking - We're not going to trust Mother Nature anymore. Water chilling equipment in the snowmaking pond, new snowmaking lines, increased air capacity and highly-efficient snow guns and fans mean that Windham will crank out more snow than ever when the temperatures permit.
  • Windham Mountain Adventure Park – The park now has three new family attractions to go with snow tubing. Ice skating is now available with a warming building and skate rentals. You can also enjoy a new bungee trampoline and rock climbing wall.
  • Trail’s End Tavern & Grill – The space formerly known as Vines Bistro at the Winwood Inn was completely renovated. Call it an extreme makeover. With a dazzling new interior and a great new menu of creative comfort food, this is now a popular après ski spot for Windham Mountain guests. Whether you're watching the game on flat-screen TVs in the bar with friends or enjoying a quiet dinner with your family, Trail's End is the place to be!
  • More food and beverage options - On the slopes,  you'll find a waffle hut to keep you going without missing a beat. In the base lodge, you'll find a new sush bar in the second floor cafeteria and organic juice drinks at Refresh Cafe on the third floor next to Legends Lounge and Starbucks.
  • Do you have a suggestion for how we can make the resort even better? Please let us know! We’re already cooking up some great new plans for next year.
